PRIMARY J. DUTIES: � Efficiently operate within pre-est. food & labor cost controls & plays active role in contributing to outlets profits. � Maint. operational control of purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists, & inventory of all kitchen items. � Design prod. schemes & assists in implementation of restaurant menu & menu engineering. � Provide mgmt. & spt. of all kitchen employees ensuring proper scheduling & vacation planning. � Maint. high customer satisfaction thru consistently introducing innovative products. � Ensure kitchen & employees meet both state & departmental req's. concerning sanitation & personal hygiene. � Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained & functioning. � Actively interact w/ guests & consistently coaches' staff on guest relations skills. Min. J. Req's.: � 2 + yrs. culinary exp. as chef. � Well versed in Asian cuisine as well as background in fast paced environment. � Strong written & verbal communication skills � Strong passion & dedication to food, beverage, & hospitality � Polished, professional, & energetic approach to mgmt. � Ability to wk. well in systems-driven environment � Ability to be adaptable & abide by policies & values of co. � Attention to detail & commitment to quality This role req. ability to move & lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time & ensuring professional appearance in clean uniform are also req'd..
